Tokyo & Osaka Test Centers
We operate two test centers in Osaka and Tokyo, equipped with approximately 80 types of test equipment capable of conducting full‑process testing for various powders, including grinding, drying, mixing, classification, granulation and particle morphology design. Around 1200 trials are completed annually across Japan. Massive volumes of accumulated trial data are archived by material type and equipment model, gradually converted into proprietary technical know‑how, which serves as our core support for responding to cutting‑edge market demands. To promptly meet customers’ latest requirements, each test center continuously introduces and deploys the newest generation of equipment. All industry experience and technical know‑how accumulated over nearly a century are embedded within the test‑center system.
Netherlands Test Center
At the Hosokawa Micron Test & R&D Center in the Netherlands, we support process technicians and engineers with process validation, system design optimization, and equipment selection for mixing, drying and agglomeration processes. Using our test facilities, you can tune and refine your processes under near‑real‑world operating conditions before scaling up to full industrial‑scale production. We undertake both laboratory‑scale trials and industrial pilot‑scale test projects. Upon completion of each trial, a comprehensive technical report will be issued, covering equipment setup proposals, process parameters, operational performance data and optimization recommendations. All tests are customized according to your product characteristics and process objectives. Whether you plan to scale‑up your process, switch raw materials or procure brand‑new equipment, solid and detailed data will empower you to make sound and reliable decisions.
Germany Test Center
Within the comprehensive service system of the Germany Test Center are multiple application‑oriented test facilities built in compliance with stringent industry standards. You are free to select the timing and venue for product trials: tests can be conducted in real‑time via video conference, or you may visit our site for hands‑on on‑site operations. Our senior engineers perform rigorous verification for your applications. They generate data required for production‑system setup, adjust equipment parameters according to your requirements, and provide full‑cycle technical support for your product R&D activities. Trials can be carried out at either laboratory‑scale or industrial production‑scale. Upon test completion, we will deliver a detailed test report containing all trial data and results, together with final product samples.
